Our Story

ABOUT THE PROJECT

Our mission is to Provide exposure, resources, and opportunities to marginalized youth through intentional programming and scholarship

WHO WE ARE

Through our programming, the Two-Six Project seeks to empower marginalized communities with the education and exposure necessary to become emerging leaders. This region faces one of the highest crime rates in America, significantly affecting the future of children, teens, and young adults in underserved and underrepresented communities. By leveraging our network and resources, the Two-Six Project is committed to being a cornerstone of the community and a catalyst for leadership, creativity, and advocacy

The Two-Six Project was born out of a passion for community and a vision for a brighter future. Founded in 2020 by then 21-year-old Fayetteville native, Grant Bennett, while studying at Morehouse College, the organization quickly gained momentum as a catalyst for positive change in the city. Forced to return home during the pandemic, Bennett and a small group of dedicated individuals from Fayetteville, NC began to envision a more vibrant and inclusive community for the city's youth. Recognizing the untapped potential of the city's brightest young entrepreneurs, creatives, athletes, artists, and influencers, they set out to create a platform that would connect them with the next generation. Through intentional conversations, grassroots programming, and strategic partnerships, The Two-Six Project has become a cornerstone exposure for marginalized young leaders across the southeast. By collaborating with renowned brands like Google, Microsoft, Dreamville, and the NBA, the organization offers unique growth opportunities for regionally based youth. Led by a dynamic team of young professionals, The Two-Six Project represents a fresh perspective and a commitment to empowering the next generation. With a focus on authentic engagement and community-driven initiatives, the organization continues to make a lasting impact on their region and beyond.
